The EAC meets the requirements of the Federal Advisory Committee Act and advises OE on a number of subjects involving specific technical expertise that does not exist within the Department.The EAC will conduct the following activities:A. Advise on electricity reliability, security and policy issues of concern tothe Department of Energy.B. Periodically review and make recommendations on DOE electricityprograms and initiatives, including electricity-related R&D programs.C.
